Do you have a black cat?
The AquaPurr 4 proximity sensor can detect some black cats, but not all. I recommend buying the motion sensor version of the AquaPurr if you have a black cat.
But there are 2 things to be aware of with the motion sensor version:
1: The motion sensor version of the AquaPurr has to be corded. It cannot run on batteries.
2: The range of the motion sensor can only be reduced to 3' or so.
