These two photos show newer styled shut off valves.

These do not have removable hoses so they cannot be used with the plumbing tee valve.

The toilet connection is always 7/8".  


This tee valve is a pass-through fitting for the toilet tank refilling.  The valve only controls the flow to the branch connection.
